What a fun weekend Carter had with Nate's mom. We picked her up Friday morning and did not stop playing until Sunday night. It was such nice weather that we were outside a lot and Carter loved it. We went to a splash park that we had never been too before. Carter was not too interested in the water as much as he just wanted to wander and explore this new freedom he had.

Nate and I went out on a date Friday night. Nate has been wanting to go to a movie for a long time, so we checked out the movies playing and did not really have any options. We went and saw Nights of Rodanthe. I had read the book, but the book was much better. It was a OK movie and definitely a chick flick. Nate and I get gift cards from credit card rewards and we had a bunch so we went to Outback and used one of our gift cards. After dinner we decided to go bowling. I won the first game 113 to 85 and then Nate one the second game. It was fun. Of course we loved driving around together in "Ruby".
Carter did not wake up until 8am Sat. morning. That is late for him. Grandma said that they played and played and played. He must have been exhausted. Saturday we headed over to tumbleweed park and played on all the cool slides and toys. He loved it and again loved to just wander. He especially loved the fire truck.

While Nate was at priesthood, Grandma, Carter and I went to a toy store. Grandma spoiled him and got him a cool push car and a little interactive push car Carter can ride. He loves them both and had so much fun getting pushed around, especially outside. After a little ride around the park, we played with the dogs and just sat and enjoyed the nice weather.

Thanks for coming to play with us Grandma Jo. We had a great weekend and glad you came. We love you!!!

Yea for Grandma Jo. Tuscanee loved watching Car-Car in the fire truck. We can't wait to play with The Green's. When she saw Sage, she said, "ruff, ruff".
The splash park looks like a lot of fun. Tuscanee loves water. I am also giving you advance warning ... that car Grandma Jo bought Carter may be in the possession of Tuscanee while we are there.
Let's share, boys and girls! We will have to work out a plan of action.
Looks like a fun weekend. See you tomorrow!!!!!!
Dear Carter,
You're getting so big! I love your new car. Here's a friendly warning...hide it from your cousin this week or learn how to wrestle her! Aunt Aimee and Tuscanee are excited to see you!
Love,
Uncle Mike
It's your month for visitors too it looks like. When it rains it pours.. he he
Carter's hair is getting so long, it must be growing fast fast fast. Isn't it so fun to actually date again. Bowling, dinner, and a movie,,, wow you two. That's too much action for just one night.. ha ha. I love being able to go out now too. Not too hot anymore. 90's are great.
Carter is at such a fun age...everyday is a new adventure for them. Have fun playing with Aimee, your mom, and Tuscanee.
